Decorate Your Party Or Event With Large Letter Balloons

Posted by abncparties on October 24, 2010

We set up these balloon decorations for Daniella’s party celebration for her Bat Mitzvah a few weeks ago in Lake Zurich. One part of the party decorations had her name spelled out in large letter balloons.

Notice what a dramatically change the party balloon decorations made to the room. Guests’ focus of attention was literally on her name as they entered the banquet room and all throughout the evening’s festivities.

Room as seen prior to setup then in progress.

A Brief Video Showing a Two Name Letter Balloon Arch

Posted by abncparties on December 20, 2009

We uploaded this YouTube video. I think it shows the impact a beautiful arch can make to a party or event as a focal point. It was our first double name balloon arch in letter balloons.

I really didn’t know how it would work out or whether it would look good. The ceiling in the party room was exceptionally high. We inflated the balloons and assembly the arch in the kitchen hallway. I admit I had some trepidation when the fishing line got tangled going through the doorway. But Mikey sure made it work!

So You Do Not Need a Day of Event Coordinator? or Horror Story #1

Posted by abncparties on December 5, 2008

We still remember all too well one day in Northbrook, Illinois. We were setting up centerpieces and balloons for a party in one room when a frantic hotel hostess came in to talk with us. The centerpiece company failed to show up for the party in the next room.

What could we do to help out the situation?

It was sheer luck we had balloons, ribbon (matching the color theme) and enough helium left in our tank to fill the balloons. We used balloons filled with water as weights, tied some colored napkins with ribbon around the water balloons, inflated and tied down the balloons, and the party went on! The appreciative parents came back to use us for their next event. And we got a second party after that!
